About Bridget Whalen

Bridget Whalen is a Raleigh native and proud NC State Wolfpack alum (Class of 2016) who brings a deep love of the Triangle—and a decade of community roots—to her work as a real estate agent.

Before real estate, Bridget spent eight years as an educator in Raleigh and Durham, teaching elementary and middle school English Language Arts. As Department Head of ELA and a two-time Teacher of the Year finalist at Ligon Middle School, she built a reputation for dedication, organization, and genuinely caring about the people she worked with—qualities that now shape how she serves her clients.

Bridget is a new addition to Whalen & Co. at Compass, led by her mother, top-producing agent Courtney Whalen. She combines fresh energy with the team’s deep ITB Raleigh expertise, and clients can count on her knowledge, professionalism, and attentiveness at every step of the buying or selling process. Outside of work, you’ll find Bridget on the tennis court, running with her yellow lab Mooney at Pelagic Run Club, or exploring Raleigh’s parks and trails.
