North Raleigh has many options for entertainment and activities. Residents have an active outdoor lifestyle, and the many parks and greenspaces allow them to get out and enjoy time outside. Crabtree Greenway Trail is a local favorite for walking and hiking. The trail follows Crabtree Creak from Lindsay Drive to Anderson Point Park and passes the Crabtree Valley Mall, Kiwanis Park, and North Hills Park. It also connects to other trials creating variety in a walk or hike.
 
Falls Lake is another local gem, and the 12,000-acre lake has many activities and multiple parks and camping grounds. For fantastic views and excellent hiking, The MST Cheek Rd Trailhead is a popular trail that winds along the lake and connects to other trails in the area. The lake is also home to many marinas, beaches, and fishing spots.
 
For golf lovers, the North Ridge Country Club offers two championship 18-hole golf courses and a state-of-the-art learning center. The club also has multiple amenities for its members, including luxurious dining, a lap pool, tennis courts and instruction, and group fitness classes. In addition, the club has banquet and event spaces for special occasions and weddings.
 
The Raleigh Racquet Club is the perfect place for any tennis lover. Membership allows access to multiple tennis courts, clinics and training, a lap pool, and satisfying dining. There is also a fitness center and pro shop where you can find everything you need for a great tennis game.
